Scenic Black Desert Landscapes: Explore both the Black and White Deserts, each offering unique and striking landscapes that can only be experienced in Egypt’s vast wilderness.
After a delicious breakfast at 7:00 AM, your driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you in an air-conditioned vehicle for an approximately 4-hour journey to the Bahariya Oasis, one of the best places to go on safari in Egypt. A short stop will be made at a rest house along the way for refreshments.
Upon arrival at Bahariya Oasis around 11:30 AM, you’ll switch to a safari vehicle, and meet your local Bedouin guide who will take you on a thrilling Egypt safari. First, explore the stunning sand dunes, where you can climb to the top of dunes that rise as high as 50 meters to capture some amazing photos.
The journey continues as you head to the Black Desert, where you’ll witness El Marsos Mountain — a surreal landscape of black stones and volcanic minerals, such as coal and iron, formed by ancient volcanic activity. Take in the unique scenery and snap some photographs.
After an adventurous morning, the tour proceeds to El Haiz Village for a relaxing lunch and rest. You’ll also have the chance to shop for traditional, handmade Bedouin-style souvenirs.
Before sunset, you’ll arrive at the White Desert. As you enter this otherworldly area, it will feel like walking on the moon, with vast stretches of white sand resembling snow and limestone formations that take on the shapes of human heads, animals, and plants — all sculpted by powerful winds.
